AGYLE Meet-Up in Kigali

In May 2025, the first cross-country AGYLE Alumni Meet-up took place in Kigali, Rwanda. Alumni from all four cohorts from Ethiopia, Germany, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal and Tunisia came together to connect in person, exchange ideas and shared visions, and strengthen African-German cooperation.

The three-day programme offered a wide range of inspiring formats – from an improvisational theatre session and panel discussions with entrepreneurs from the region to a reception hosted by the German Ambassador. The gathering was further enriched by visits to local companies and a leadership workshop.

What connected all programme elements was the shared belief that sustainable change can only be achieved through joint learning, mutual trust, and strong networks. AGYLE proves that genuine connections can transcend borders.
