AGYLE Meet-Up in Kigali

In May 2025, the first cross-country AGYLE Alumni Meeting took place in Kigali, Rwanda. Alumni from all four cohorts – representing Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia and Germany – came together to connect in person, exchange ideas and visions, and strengthen African-German cooperation.

The three-day programme offered a wide range of inspiration – from an improvisational theatre performance to kick things off, to panel discussions with regional entrepreneurs, and a reception hosted by the German Ambassador. The gathering was further enriched by visits to local businesses and a workshop on leadership.

What united all programme elements was the shared conviction that sustainable change is only possible through joint learning, mutual trust, and strong networks. Together, the participants affirmed: AGYLE proves that genuine connections can transcend borders.
